Documenta 14 – one of the largest and most important contemporary art events in the world – opens officially in Athens this weekend. Some of the most recognized artists of our time will be exhibiting their works in dozens of venues around the city. This is the first time that the Documenta exhibition is taking place outside of its hometown in Kassel, Germany. Embassy Athens is supporting Documenta 14, and in particular the Victoria Square Project) by artist Rick Lowe.
