KinderDocs is a new channel for communication and exchange between young people and adults through activities inspired by the art of storytelling and documentary filmmaking. Each screening is followed by a discussion with distinguished guests. Lasting between60 and 90 minutes, screenings and events take place on weekdays for schools and on weekends for the public. The first screening period starts on 15th October 2017 through April 2018.
Production by Kouzi Productions in collaboration with the Benaki Museum 138 Pireos and the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art. With the support of idfa, the world’s largest documentary film festival that takes place in Amsterdam every year, and doxs!, the oldest and most important German festival for documentaries for children and young audiences.
All KinderDocs are screened in their original language and subtitled in Greek. See individual screenings for original language. Each KinderDocs screening includes two films for one entrance ticket (except screenings on 15.10.2017, 22.10.2017, 19.11.2017 and 25.02.2018, which include one feature-length film each.
