Plisskën Festival is proud to announce the sixth edition of The Lab: The Professionals

As the winter edition of Athens’ Plisskën Festival returns once again with another heavy-hitting line-up in December, The Lab, an annual series of workshops organized by Plisskën, take place prior to the festival.

Believing in young people and wanting to offer something back, the idea of The Lab emerged 6 years ago. Offering a series of theoretical & practical seminars followed by hands-on experience, The Lab participants will get the chance to learn from experts in the field all the steps which lead to the realization of a festival.

From booking the bands, handling the press & marketing, to the environmental awareness of a production and finally the actual set up, by the end of it, one gets a well-rounded view & experience in production.

The Lab activities culminate in the participation of the Labsters in a series of gigs hosted by Plisskën in the following months, numerous workshops and practical experience during the the Winter edition of Plisskën Festival '17 on the 1&2nd of December through the following variety of tasks:

Client Service | Event Management | Hospitality | Press & Promo | Sustainability | Technical Production | Venue Management

The goal is to create a unique educational experience for people eager to learn what goes into festivals, live and cultural events, and to help kick-start future careers in the industry.

To be able to be among this year's 35 Labsters please send us an email by the 26th of October, 2017 to: thelab@plisskenfestival.gr, including a few words on why you are interested in joining, together with a short bio.

Knowledge of English language is compulsory!
