The Ensemble du Bout du Monde makes their debut tour in Greece

The Ensemble du Bout du Monde will be in Athens from November 20 to November 26 for a series of performances in six different venues. Their Greek tour will start with a radio interview and performance with Radiobubble in Athens and the world premiere of Nicolas Tzortzis' new work, Lumineux//ΦΩΤΕΙΝΟ.

“DIVINE DIALOGUES: Cy Twombly and Greek Antiquity”

The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens (MCA) announces the exhibition “DIVINE DIALOGUES: Cy Twombly and Greek Antiquity”, from 25 May to 3 September. The exhibition showcases ancient artefacts side by side with works by contemporary American artist Cy Twombly and is made possible thanks to the kind support of the Cy Twombly foundation.

Documenta 14

Documenta 14 – one of the largest and most important contemporary art events in the world – opens officially in Athens this weekend. Some of the most recognized artists of our time will be exhibiting their works in dozens of venues around the city. This is the first time that the Documenta exhibition is taking place outside of its hometown in Kassel, Germany. Embassy Athens is supporting Documenta 14, and in particular the Victoria Square Project) by artist Rick Lowe.

Dimitris Papaioannou - A new creation

Dimitris Papaioannou’s new project is under construction. Involving 11 performers on stage, the work takes shape around the notion that human life can be seen as a journey of discovery, an exploration for hidden treasure, an inner archaeological excavation for meaning.
