Borderline Festival ’17

For the seventh year in a row, the Borderline Festival invites us to experience sound beyond everything we take as given in music. Focusing on the more adventurous zones of musical experimentation and electronic sound, the festival and its guest artists from around the world transcend the sometimes fuzzy lines demarcating silence from noise, composition from improvisation, and meditation from dance.

Borderline Festival '13

At this year's three-day Borderline festival, we'll get to see an enfant terrible of the New York no wave scene of the late 70s, Ikue Mori (of DNA) sharing a stage with the American harpist Zeena Parkins, with whom the entire Avant garde has either worked with or would like to.
