Educational Robotics at the Public Library of Veria

24 October 2017

The S.T.E.M. yourself with FLL is a robotics training program designed by the non-profit, charitable organization eduACT (Action for Education). The aim of the program is to inspire children aged 9 to 16 to approach the concepts of Physics, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics in a playful way, based on the construction and programming of a robot. The program is developed according to the core values of the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Global Competition organized in more than 80 countries, and it should be noted that it is an integrated educational intervention that cultivates a wide range of skills for students, such as digital, social, and programming and research skills.

The S.T.E.M. yourself with FLL Veria, is a product of eduACT's collaboration with the Veria Tech Lab of the Public Central Library of Veria and the support of the American Embassy in Athens that finances the project.

The participation of the participants in the program is free and the venue for the weekly educational meetings is the Public Central Library of Veria.
