In her own words...
On the world of animation:
"Ever since I was little I loved cartoons! I was crazy with the idea of sketches that acquired life and became stories. Whenever I watched cartoons, I wanted to imitate them."
On how technology changed her life and work:
"It was a turning moment in my life. Critical. It was very difficult to decide, I was very confused."
On her love for the script and directing:
"I didn't know I loved directing until I started working with scripts. I wanted to build my own stories and have control over them. I realized that I had my own voice and wanted to express it."
On feminism and animation:
"It is important that more and more stories that empower women are written. However this does not mean that the heroines should carry swords, do karate or have super powers. The feminine look offers a different perspective, which does not necessarily mean flowers and romance."
