The South by Southwest Interactive Festival (SXSW), the international and the biggest technology, music, cinema and media festival, was held for one more year in Austin, Texas, in the United States, hosting thousands of visitors coming from various corners of the world.

As in any event, this year, the city has become a huge community that has helped creative people to promote their ideas and start-ups, develop partnerships, expand the circle of acquaintances, and look for the right financiers to help them to make their next professional steps. For the fifth consecutive year, the Hellenic Initiative (THI) and the United States Embassy in Athens supported Greek startups at the festival, through their jointly funded assistance.

From 9 to 18 March 2018, the founders and members of 9 new ventures that traveled to Texas, had the opportunity to present their company to the International Accelerator program, founded by Hellenic American economist and investor, Mr. Angelos Angelou in 2013. Members were found among participants with different and original ideas. "It was an excellent opportunity to share the actions and the vision of our company and to present the opportunities we have created for the artists we represent in Greece," says the musician Mr. Theodoros Polychronopoulos to HuffPost and a member of the emerging record label United We Fly.
