Our Fotini 10 years after the flame was extinguished

18 September 2014

Over the past several days written on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games of Athens 2004 was a ceremony that was sealed in the presence of an SOS Children's Villages and the light extinguished the flame that is our own child. Within these ten years many were in our country and in the last five years have shaped a different and harsh new reality in Greek society.

For SOS Children's Villages and more specifically for Luminous us these ten years were years and creatively, effectively and above all hope. Nowadays Fotini our 20 years is a sophomore student at the Department of Biology, University of Patras, speaks fluent English and German, dealing with sport and sees through the support of our friends and donors in their social, educational and professional future with many hopes. At the same time dealing with many things and desire is through the knowledge and experience to be able to offer the community.

The light continues to illuminate the lives of many children.
