The Educational Policy Institute (IEP), in collaboration with the School of Fine Arts (ASFA) and the Onassis Cultural Centre co-organize an International Conference on "Art and Education: Teachings and Pedagogical Approaches to the School of the 21st century." The conference will be held Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday4 of October, 2015, at the Onassis Cultural Centre (Syngrou 107) with the participation of distinguished Greek and foreign scientists. The opening of the conference is Friday, October 2, 2015, at 18:00.
The conference aims to present contemporary pedagogical proposals, opinions and guidelines for the dynamic relationship between art and school, and the development of a meaningful dialogue between workers and executives of education, artists, special educators-scientists and researchers-teachers from the area of Arts and Higher Education.
Participation in the conference is free. Alongside the presentations and presentation of educational programs will be held experiential workshops on the role they can play various forms of art (visual arts, dance, music, theater etc) in the contemporary school. To participate in the workshops to be held in the ballroom and the Educational Laboratory located on the 4th floor, it is necessary that you have free admission cards. The distribution of cards for the workshops starts two hours before the start of each workshop.
At the end of the conference certificates of participation will be given.
