Do you have a bit of extra time on your hands? Do you like American history? Then join us Thursday, April 16 at 4:30 p.m. local time in Athens for what is sure to be an interesting conversation in the first of the U.S. Department of State’s new American Studies Discussion Series. Award-winning American high school teacher, lawyer, debate coach and The Fulbright Program alum, Bob Mathis, will convene a virtual discussion on the process the founders of the United States of America undertook to adopt the Constitution – including how they were inspired by the Ancient Greeks when they embarked upon this bold new experiment with democracy.
