The Stanford Club of Greece is organizing a conference that aims to promote entrepreneurship for startups in Greece. The event will take place at the Athens Hilton on Monday, October 6th, 2014.
The event "Reality Bites: How to Approach Startup Challenges – Dos and Don'ts for a Successful Venture" is tailored to business people from all industry segments who wish to learn directly from the experiences of world renowned academics and also of keen Greek business people.
We will be hosting two present-day professors from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Professors Jim Lattin and Peter Ziebelman, who combine leading-edge research with hands-on experience in the area of startup businesses. Perfectly complementing each other, they exemplify the successful interaction between Stanford University and Silicon Valley's entrepreneurial innovation.
In addition, leaders of prominent Greek businesses will share their own experiences, and then founders of existing Greek startup companies will discuss their current challenges directly with the two Stanford professors, in a lively panel format.
