"UNDER" is a play that focuses on immigration and the way that societies treat immigrants and refugees that become part of them. The performance sheds light to the conditions – dire in many cases – under which immigrants leave their homes in search of a better future. It depicts their lives as undocumented immigrants, the lack of respect, the indifference and violence in which they live.
The Greek Play Project is a dynamic promotional platform, a network of collaborations and activities, and an open space for information and exchange of ideas. GPP's aim is to give prominence to the modern Greek dramaturgy, contribute to its promotion and encourage discussion and action around it.
